Today’s Discovery for Monday, May 18 comes out of New Zealand. the Kiwi producer, who goes by the name of Havvks, has kept a pretty low profile so far, but the music he’s put up on his SoundCloud page is pretty intriguing. While he is a producer, the songs aren’t overly electronic, and have some old school hip hop and R&B elements as long as a nice touch of the soul. The song I picked today, “Revival”, is pretty exceptional. I look forward to hearing more (and learning more) from this emerging artist.
