Sort of a down week this week, but here we go anyway. Would have loved to go to #1, but I don’t do these middle of the week shows that don’t start until 9 or 10. Ugh, c’mon, some of us have jobs and kids.

Simpson, the critically acclaimed up and coming Country artist stops by Fort Worth on his current tour.
3 X @ Trees (Deep Ellum) Thurs 4/9/15
The Punk rock legends tour, with their classic record Los Angeles, hitting it’s 35th birthday (just a little before my own)
4 Dick Dale @ Gas Monkey (Dallas) Thurs 4/9/15
If nothing else, the 77-year-old king of surf rock will grace your ears with “Misirlou”
5 Stars @ Granada Theater (Lower Greenville) Fri 4/3/15
A pretty solid Canadian indie-pop band, making one of their frequent stops at the Granada.
6 Dengue Fever @ the Kessler Theater (Oak Cliff) Mon 4/6/15
6-piece from LA combine Cambodian pop music with psychedelic rock with some pretty intriguing results.
7 Bad Religion @ House of Blues (Dallas) Sat 4/4/15
One of the biggest punk rock bands of ever.
8 Swans @ Trees (Deep Ellum) Sat 4/4/15
Critical darling Experimental rock group hit Deep Ellum.
9 Kiesza @ Granada Theater (Lower Greenville) Sat 4/4/15
Canadian singer-songwriter whose hit song “Hideaway” charted all across the globe.
10 SomeKindaWonderful @ Cambridge Room (Dallas) Fri 4/3/15
Up and coming indie-pop group fill your ears with bubble gum, but in Reverse.
Also in town this week: Fort Worth has their Main Street Arts Festival next weekend, GRO (Green River Ordinance) hit the stage on Thursday. Also, Nickelback, sorry, I couldn’t bring myself to put Nickelback on the list, even in a slow week.
