Favorite New Songs for the Month of February

Here’s a countdown of my favorite new tracks released in February.

25. Passion Pit “Lifted Up (1985)”

The lead single off of the upcoming Passion Pit record “Kindred”. I think it’s the inferior of the 2 pre-released tracks.

The lead single off of upcoming Twin Shadow record “Eclipse” out 3/17/15

23. Freedom Fry “Shaky Ground (Hey Na Na Na)”

The first release of 2015 for Los Angeles based Freedom Fry. It’s pretty catchy.

22. Seryn “the Wind and the Storm”

One of my favorite tracks off the Nashville (Formerly Denton) based Seryn’s February release. My other favorite tracks were released as singles ahead of the record, so this one gets the nod.

The first single released from Josh Tillman’s fantastic new album

5. Janell Kroll “Sunny Days”

A really great song from an up and coming NYC vocalist.

A stepping out song from this mother/son duo from Kansas City.
